TRAVEL GUIDE: DENVER, COLORADO

Denver has been on my list for quite some time and when I randomly saw there was an airline sale, we booked a trip. Spontaneity at its finest! Colorado is seriously one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. We were in Denver for most of the time, but we did rent a car to explore Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park, which I spoke more about below. Could not recommend it enough! Below I also included many recommendations on where to stay, eat, drink, and play! Comment here or DM me on Instagram if you have any other recs!

THINGS TO DO

Rocky Mountain National Park - One of the most stunning places in the country to hike! The park features 355 miles of hiking trails. You can even stay overnight in one of the park’s wilderness campsites. We ended up spending the last full day exploring and I highly, highly recommend it!

Attend a concert or visit Red Rocks Amphitheater - This place is INSANE in the best possible way. I’m sure you’ve all seen the photos and yes, it’s even more breathtaking in person. There weren’t any concerts that caught our eye the weekend we went, so we just went to visit and see all the magic. Highly recommend checking out the concert schedule prior, but it’s definitely worth a visit, concert or not!

RiNo Art Distract - Every time I asked someone for Denver Recommendations, they always mentioned the murals in RiNo. A ton of colorful walls and photo backdrops all over Larimer Street. I’m talking 80+ official walls painted. Definitely a must-see!

TIPS & TRICKS

Take the train to Union Station from the airport - with prices increasing on Uber & Lyft, we ended up just taking the train from the airport to Union Station since our hotel was less than a 10 min walk. The train ride is around $10 and Uber & Lyft rides were over $100 at the time we checked. Very easy process!
