A PALM SPRINGS BACHELORETTE PARTY

SO excited to finally share the most epic weekend in Palm Springs for my friend, Sarah’s, Bachelorette party. Again, I can’t take any credit for this Bachelorette party (huge shout out to Heather) but I’m here to share all the deets. The bachelorette party was huge. A total of 20 people. Finding a house in Palm Springs that fit us wasn’t the biggest challenge, you just need to act fast. here's the house we booked. We needed it to fit all of us but we also wanted a pool and space for all the activities. Also, here's a post on my top tips for throwing a bachelorette party.

I’ve also stayed in this house before! it’s such a gem if you’re looking to stay in La Quinta! The house fits 10, so it’s a great size for a Bach party too!

I stayed here too recently (June 2020). It fits 6 and is in a great location!

I’ll include our full itinerary below but here are some of the most recommended places to eat from the Sweat in SD fam. Keep scrolling to find nightlife info!

WHERE TO EAT

Rooster and the Pig: Vietnamese spot! Comes highly recommended! It’s a must!

Eight4nine: SUPER cute dinner spot!

Birba: Pasta and pizza, what more could you want?

Workshop Kitchen + Bar: A new take on American farm to table. On the pricier side but worth it!

Wilma & Frieda’s: Comfort food with a twist

Tac/Quila: Modern Mexican

Azucar: It’s such a vibe! Indoor, outdoor, rooftop restaurant with all the options. FYI it’s 21+

Sandfish: Sushi!

Lulu California Bistro: Perfect for brunch!

Truss + Twine: Perfect for cocktails & small plates. It’s a bar vibe for sure!

Bootlegger Tiki:  Who doesn’t love a tiki bar?!

We knew we needed an itinerary to guide us through the weekend but we wanted some flexibility too. We kept Thursday and most of Friday open as people were coming in late and we wanted some pool and chill time at the house.

THURSDAY

Get there and get situated. Most people were coming Thursday evening or on Friday so it was a perfect day to chill and hang by the pool.

FRIDAY

Day time: Pool

7pm | Dinner @ Eight4nine (they were very accommodating with a large group)

10pm | Night out @ Toucans Tiki Lounge (call ahead if there’s a large group and you’re interested in a table)

SATURDAY

11am | Cabana at The Saguaro Palm Springs I This was a surprise for the bride and you can even decorate the cabana (it makes sense to get a cabana if there’s a large group as we just had to hit a $400 food & beverage minimum which is pretty easy with 20 people)

5pm | Back to the house for food, drinks, and pool time

SUNDAY

11am | Check Out

BACHELORETTE PARTY 101

Still dreaming about my friend Chloe’s bachelorette party in Miami. It was so epic! Although I can’t take credit for any of the planning, I did want to give you guys a round-up of what went down. I included all the deets and links to everything. ALL credit and I mean, all credit, goes to Jess. She planned and designed literally everything. She does event planning so if you guys are ever interested, definitely email her here! I mean, she literally brought a binder with all the details, vendors, etc. and was walking around with it like a true event planner.

Head to my Miami Travel Guide for details on where to eat, things to do and full hotel details.

We stayed at the Faena in Miami Beach so we only decorated one room. I’ve included some tips below to make sure everything runs smoothly for hotel bachelorette parties.

Bachelorette Party Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure the hotel has some type of table. We used it to display decorations, her gift, napkins, drinks, snacks, etc. It really came in handy!

  • Etsy is your best friend. You can literally find everything on Etsy and SO many things are customizable. Into something but want some changes? Definitely reach out to the creator via messaging, I’m sure they’ll be able to customize anything! I’ve included Etsy shops below where you can find literally everything from Chloe’s Bach.

  • Schedule all vendors to arrive a little earlier than you think just in case there are some hiccups. Jess had a balloon company come and they were missing some letters and may or may not have spelled the bride’s name wrong. More time allowed them to run back to the store to fix it.

  • Make note the hotel has a fridge. Seems standard but ya never know. Also, lots of hotels charge you based on the weight of the fridge. It’s how they know you drank something from the minibar. So just let them know you’ll be using it so they’re aware of the weight fluctuation.
